Cyclists and Cinzano! An interesting mix of competitors and sponsors take to the road for the exciting three-day, three-stage, 350-mile Tour of East Anglia.
It's 9th June 1962 and crowds are out in force in Felixstowe, Suffolk to witness the start of the sporting spectacle of the Tour of East Anglia. Anglia TV News cameras follow the race and are in Felixstowe again on Monday 11th June to capture some final sprints for the line. Albert Hitchens from Mirfield Yorkshire, racing for Falcons Cycles, was overall winner, winning two of the three stages.
