Pinocchio

In this unnerving live action adaptation of the classic tale, wood carver Gepetto (Roberto Benigni) crafts a wooden boy named Pinocchio who magically comes to life.

From the same source material as the Disney classic, Matteo Garrone's adaptation proves to be somewhat different than the version conjured up by the house of mouse. Unsettling, but faithful to its source material, Garrone puts an unusual spin on this beloved story.
