The occupants of an old house are menaced by a dead - and very angry - Egyptologist.

Fresh from his recent Hollywood success, London-born horror icon Boris Karloff made his first appearance in a British film with this lurid tale, clearly modelled on the contemporary Universal horror cycle. A crazed Egyptologist rises from the grave to wreak vengeance on those spending the night in his spooky old house after the theft of the Eternal Light, a jewel held in his fetid, bandaged hand.
