Troubled teen Alex, misunderstood by her family and running out of chances, is sent to intern for the summer at a horse ranch in the German countryside. At first, it’s Alex’s worst nightmare, but she soon finds solace among the animals and when Katy, a shy young woman her own age arrives on the ranch, it ignites feelings in Alex that go beyond friendship.
