In a remote part of Scotland, teenager Shell develops an intense relationship with her reclusive father.

Chloe Pirie's Shell is a teenager growing up in a secluded service station, with only her reserved father (Joseph Mawle) for company. As she stands on the brink of womanhood, her desperate loneliness tips into overbearing affection for her dad. Writer-director Scott Graham's debut feature is a beautiful, sensitive portrait of a young woman struggling to balance childish affection and adult emotion.
