Armistice

Take your seat for an Armistice concert by military bands playing a medley of songs commonly sung during WWI.

The combined bands of the Coldstream and Welsh Guards perform songs and hymns associated with the Great War, introduced with a reading of John McCrea's war poem In Flanders Fields by Shakespearian actor Henry Ainley. The tunes range from the solemn Abide with Me to cheerful marching songs like Tipperary and Pack up your Troubles, concluding with the national anthem.
