Battle for Wembley

Heaving terraces and goalmouth action at Highbury for this FA Cup fourth round encounter between Arsenal and Everton.

Arsenal, not yet wearing their familiar red-top-with-white-sleeves combination, eventually won this thrilling cup tie against Everton 4-3, ample reward for the huge crowds that mass on terraces and in stands to watch the game. The shots of the crowd are wonderful and while action on the pitch is less discernible, the camera does capture a goal, to the delight of the heaving terrace behind the goal.
