A powerful public information filler promoting CALM – a charity dedicated to preventing male suicide.

This hard-hitting film was made to raise awareness of a phone counselling service aimed at combating depression, run by the charity CALM - Campaign Against Living Miserably. The helpline still operates, though with reduced hours from those advertised in this film.

This government film is a public record, preserved and presented by the BFI National Archive on behalf of The National Archives, home to more than 1,000 years of British history.
