There's weightlifting at Earls Court, the GB-India hockey final at Wembley, the 2000m tandem cycling final at Herne Hill, three-day eventing at Aldershot, boxing from the Empire Pool and more cycling at Windsor - with the winner congratulated by the Duke of Edinburgh. In typically sporting fashion, all the British contestants graciously let someone else win.
