Cluck
Black comedy about a teenage idealist who builds a bomb, hijacks a lorry and sets off on a most peculiar mission.
Overview
Written and directed by Terry Loane (Mickeybo and Me), Cluck stars a young Ciarán McMenamin - in one of his earliest film roles - John Hewitt and Conleth Hill (Varys in Game of Thrones). McMenamin is the kind-hearted, but hapless Marty, an animal lover who's determined to liberate the feathered inmates of the local poultry farm.
Part of Première, a short film production scheme designed to showcase local, Northern Irish film-making talent. It provided a training opportunity for industry new entrants and more experienced crew alike, offering film-makers a global audience and a stepping stone in their careers.
