But, after exciting play in the second half, the Sunderland football squad climb the 39 steps to collect the winner’s trophy from a new King and Queen. The final score was 3 – 1. This is rare footage of Sunderland’s first ever FA Cup victory, which documents goals by Frank O’Donnell (Preston), Bobby Gurney, Raich Carter and Eddie Burbanks.
