Colour home movie shot by British director David Lean while on holiday in Italy with his then wife, actress Ann Todd.
British director David Lean shot this home movie on Kodachrome film stock while travelling around Italy on holiday with his third wife, actress Ann Todd. Much of the first half of the film was shot in and around actor Rex Harrison's villa in the coastal town of Portofino, and he appears in some shots. Although Lean himself was operating the camera for most of this film, watch out for a glimpse of him relaxing in a swimming pool.
The exact year this film was shot is not known, but it will have been sometime between 1951 (when construction work on Harrison's villa was completed) and 1955 (when Lean and Todd separated).
