A plane spotter's paradise - a look back at the long lost aircraft that flew in Britain's skies during the 1930s.

Filmed by Herbert Arundel of Staffordshire this is a fascinating survey of the huge variety of aircraft that existed in the 1930s. From the lumbering four engined Short Scylla operated by Imperial Airways at the main London airport (Croydon in those days) to the sleek Monospar that Mr Arundel takes his family on a flight in. Be prepared for some head spinning acrobatics filmed from a two seater Avro biplane and look out for the aviation blind-alley that was the autogiro.
