Great Yorkshire Show at Leeds (1902)

The well-dressed Edwardian ladies and gents of the county tour the annual agricultural show.

The filmmakers appear more interested in the female visitors than the actual farming exhibits at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society's annual display. Images of a lady reclining in a hammock and children on swings are favoured over the livestock and machinery that would have been the main event for many. A film of the previous year's event in Bradford includes horse jumping and show animals.
