This film was sponsored by Stewart & Lloyd’s Iron & Steel Company, based in Corby, and its promotional intent becomes more apparent after opening as an historical overview of the iron ore industry. Unusually for an industrial film there are five photographers credited, and this has resulted in some beautiful cinematography.
