Bernie Winters and a Waiters' Race both feature in this locally produced professional showcase promoting the seaside town of Cromer, Norfolk
In 1958, the Cromer & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce commissioned a promotional film for the town. Let’s Go To Cromer was made by Bryant & Utting, and features all the attractions Cromer has to offer; the promenade, pier, and beach, the annual Waiters’ Race around the Church, Bernie Winters crowns the Carnival Queen, and The No.1 Lifeboat, the Henry Blogg, is launched from the pier with coxswain Henry Davies, nephew of Henry Blogg.
