London River
Follow the Thames from Westminster to Limehouse, Covent Garden to Tower Bridge.
Overview
Ebbing out with the tide, this film shows the Thames as a busy, pulsing artery through the disparate parts of the city. Briefly leaving the water we glimpse the Limehouse of old and a bustling Covent Garden market, but the river is the star of the show.Seemingly produced for the "home cinema" market - when that meant a 16mm projector and hanging up your best white bed sheet - it is further proof, if it were needed, that the Thames does not divide London, it is a pathway that brings it together.
