Worshippers stroll out of church after the Sunday service.
Morecambe was a relatively short journey from Mitchell and Kenyon's Blackburn base, and the filmmakers seem to have made at least two visits to the Lancashire coast resort between 1901 and 1902. The well-spruced churchgoers in this film are less numerous than the abundant crowds typical in Mitchell and Kenyon's films, in which they made a point of capturing as many people on camera as possible.
