Enjoy the view from an eyrie on Spice Island as a parade of ferries, frigates and hovercraft bustle in and out of a busy Portsmouth Harbour in 1975

This film, a pleasure to shipping fans everywhere, captures Portsmouth Harbour as it used to look before the massive redevelopment of Gunwharf Quay. We see several Isle of Wight ferries, operated by Sealink, docking and departing while two Royal Navy frigates, HMS Dundas and HMS Londonderry arrive and depart. A hovercraft enters the harbour itself while another arrives at its Southsea base, collects a passenger and departs. The film ends as it began with a ship's anchor.
