The Cox family, who have lost their hearts to Wales, motor from Dolgellau in Gwynedd to Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey, and Smut the dog comes too.
A Cox family party motors through Gwynedd - taking in the sights and delights of Dolgellau, Barmouth, Fairbourne, Arthog, Tal-y-bont, Dyffryn Ardudwy, Llanbedr, Maentwrog, Tan-y-bwlch, Borth-y-gest (where fish and chips are consumed on the beach) - and on to Anglesey. Harold Cox, who shot the footage, was a knitter of note and ran a music business in Birmingham. He and his brother had neighbouring bungalows built in Dyffryn Ardudwy for holidays and eventual retirement.
