Solarflares Burn for You
Come on a psychedelic journey to Cornwall in this stunning, sensual film.
Overview
Vivid yellows, blues and oranges and a Robert Wyatt soundtrack create a stunning, sensual film.
Optical printing effects that introduce colour, superimpositions and mirroring transform personal 16mm footage gleaned first from the streets of London, then the roads of Cornwall. The film journeys deeper into the Duchy, passing china clay pits, mining stacks and green fields. Wyatt's music is mesmerising and this little known, drug-inspired masterpiece of rural psychedelia is quite something to behold.
