Some of Us - Holland-on-Sea

Amateur film of some of the folks who live in Holland-On-Sea, Essex and some of the places they visited on the East Anglian coast.

Bert Gregory moved from Watford, retiring to Holland-on-Sea and became an active member of the Clacton Cine Club. Bert often took along his Super 8 camera to capture the many day trips and gatherings of his fellow Essex inhabitants. This footage shows “a few of our folks”, and their coach trips to the coast including to Southend, Sheringham, and Great Yarmouth, a boat trip along Oulton Broad in Suffolk and back at Holland-on-Sea on carnival day, captured from 1989 to 1993.
