This colourful post-war curio, which encourages personal saving, takes the form of a leisurely exploration of the scenic wonders and rich heritage of the Wye Valley. From Chepstow at the mouth to the reservoirs of the Elan Valley, the camera captures the castles and towns of Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye and Hereford, as well as enduring beauty spots such Symond's Yat.
This government film is a public record, preserved and presented by the BFI National Archive on behalf of The National Archives, home to more than 1,000 years of British history.
