There Won't Be Time Tomorrow

Referring to the sense of immediacy required of a newspaper company to produce daily copy, “There Won’t Be Time Tomorrow” features the key activities of the many departments – from editorial to printmaking and finally to delivery – working towards the publication of the Peterborough Evening Telegraph.

In 1947, Richard Pattinson Winfrey consolidated the newspapers owned by the family business, which was started by his father, Richard, in 1887. The Peterborough Advertiser, North cambs Echo and Lynn News were merged to form the East Midland Allied Press (EMAP). Magazine publications followed to keep the presses from lying idle once the daily papers were printed, with The Angling Times and Motor Cycle News. EMAP renamed itself Top Right Group in 2012, and in 2015 became Ascential.
