St Faith's go to Kew for tea

Enjoy a nostalgic trip down river with members of the St Faith community - with tea at Kew, feeding penguins at London Zoo and lots of chatter - all in sign language!

This remarkable record starts with deaf members of St Faith's community boarding a Thames pleasure boat. Watch out for their use of sign language throughout the film. We visit London Zoo's famous Penguin Pool where it's feeding time. Our visitors look very happy. After a garden visit, we accompany the group on a very jolly outdoor tea at Kew. Our final journey is on board a launch down the Thames to Greenwich, passing an industrial riverside that today has largely vanished.
