Turner: Silver Jubilee Fair

Nottingham mayor visits Arnold to cut the Silver Jubilee cake.

With cake, trifle and plates of chocolate fingers the pupils of Roundwood School at Arnold on the outskirts of Nottingham are celebrating the 1977 Silver Jubilee with a feast of sweet-treats. The Lord Mayor of Nottingham, Stanley Rushton, is on hand for cake-cutting duties after the obligatory tug-of-war and apple bobbing competitions have concluded.
