25th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain - September 1965

Blue skies free of peril arch over those remembering the horror of the Battle of Britain.

Uniforms abound as the armed forces - and service veterans and other inhabitants of Pembrokeshire - parade through the streets, past the Old Cross Hotel, after a service in St David’s Cathedral in remembrance of the few who, as Churchill declared in August 1940, are owed so much by so many i.e. the RAF fighter pilots.
