Does Your Wife Know?
A vicar gets railroaded on the cheap in this silent cinema ad for Southern Railways.
Overview
Does ‘er indoors know if you err outdoors? The indiscretion in this silent cinema ad, involving a vicar and a lanky brunette, is not a romantic one (sorry Fleabag). The guilty omission is in not informing his wife of the cheap-day return tickets to London that are on offer. The film also points out that any money saved would be well spent on tickets to the cinema!
