During the austere days of 1980s Thatcher's Britain, a teenager learns to find his own voice through the music of Bruce Springsteen.
1987, Thatcher's Britain. When music fanatic Javed (Viveik Kalra) discovers the back catalogue of The Boss, his world is turned upside down. Already a creative soul his passion for music is fired up by Springsteen's songs. Yearning to escape his hometown and his traditional Pakistani household, Javed finds himself caught between two worlds and must discover if he too is Born to Run...(sorry).
