Lancashire cotton-workers pile out through the mill gates at dinner time.
A profusion of pinnies, shawls, flat caps and straw hats is on display as these Lancashire textile workers crowd through the factory gates at dinner hour. This film was shown in the Bioscope cinematograph booth at the annual September Fair on Chorley Cattle Market. A local newspaper tells us that "it caused much amusement and wonderment to visitors to see their friends moving about on the canvas".
