In their first match in the 1928-29 FA Cup, amateur side Corinthian FC prove their pedigree with a 5-0 win away to Norwich City.
As the crowds watched the teams line up at The Nest on that January day, they could hardly have seen Corinthian FC's 5-0 away win coming; and neither could the cameraman, who unfortunately stationed himself by the away goal. Although Norwich City (in their classic two-tone strip) had had convincing wins against lower league opposition in the previous rounds (Chatham 6-0 & Newport County 6-1), a third round home tie against Corinthians was always going to be a much sterner test.
