Fisherman Ted Tuckerman's catch of the day!
British television angling correspondent Ted Tuckerman joins Irish pop band The Bachelors, Conleth Clusky, Declan Cluskey and John Stokes for a fishing holiday in Torbay as they set sail off the coast of Devon in search of a good catch. In the 1950s the group were originally the Harmonichords but changed their name to the Bachelors in 1960. In 1970 they were contracted to the Pye Label with easy listening star Frankie Vaughan.
Devon's Ted Tuckerman is a famous angler and as a former England international, Ted competed in world championships and was manager of the England international angling team. He presented TV Westward's 'Tight Lines' angling programme for almost 20 years and reported on all things fishy for the Westward Diary, the South West's television news programme.
