In the second of Wardill’s Carlyle's Hands series, Eitienne the neuroscientist meets Georgia, a woman with whom he is able to connect and they fall in love.
For her Jarman Award commission, Emily Wardill produced a series of five short films, collectively titled Carlyle's Hands. Ostensibly a contemporary love story, Carlyle's Hands sees Wardill subtly unpack the narrative forms of the thriller to explore themes of self awareness, questions of perception and investigations into our own consciousness. Part of the Derek Jarman Awards collection.
