A clueless and rather clumsy apprentice barber features in this amateur cine club comedy set in a Colchester Gentlemen's Saloon.
Colchester Cine Club member, amateur filmmaker Geoff Pettit made this slapstick comedy, set in friend Hubert Snow's "Gentlemen’s Saloon" in Colchester. The film features the central characters of an inept apprentice barber and his hapless customer.
Geoffrey Pettit was a prolific amateur cine film maker, becoming a member of the Colchester Cine Club in the mid 1960s. At this time, by profession, he was a portrait photographer working on cruise ships. In 1972, he founded his own business ‘Colchester Colour Processors’, offering specialist photography and film processing. Geoff Pettit died in January 2008.
