The Dawson family from Norwich conjure up a great Christmas with games and trickery to entertain the children in this home movie.

An amateur illusionist steals the show in this home movie showing the Dawson family at home at Christmastime. Great period detail shows a tree complete with colourful decorations, the centrepiece of any home at Christmas. A little boy plays with his brand new gift - a 'Mouse Trap Game'. It's Mum's job to hand out the gifts and bring out the trifle, and the home movie maker indulges in some trick photography, making a child "disappear" as if by magic behind a sheet.
