A Deaf man becomes a world-famous porn star thanks to some advanced skill with his hands.

Vernon has been catapulted up the ranks of the porn industry, singled out for his ability to provide pleasure with his hands. But when his signature move ‘The Spider’ puts his co-star in a coma, his world is turned upside down. Working from a script by Charlie Swinbourne, William Mager’s jaunty romp features a breakout performance from Deaf actor Matt Kirby and upends conventional depictions of disability on screen in a delightfully brisk manner, taking his characters into hypersexual territory.

The film was funded by the UK Film Council through 104 Films, a Sheffield-based production company specialising in Deaf and disability-led filmmaking.
