No longer a cottage industry: by 1969 Bulmer's of Hereford was producing cider on an industrial scale.
With the first million gallon storage tank under construction the production of cider by Bulmer's had come a long way since the days of the hand pressed apple drink enjoyed by local farm labourers. By 1969 the firm had embraced television advertising and their brands were selling across the world.
