A new home and a new beginning - disabled filmmaker John Thorpe records his own house move.
Home movies from disabled filmmakers are a rarely studied subgenre of amateur film making. Does the filmmaker's disability change the subject matter? His newly built bungalow on Piper's Lane in the village has to meet his needs and in the early 1960s even a ramped entrance was a rare sight.
