Duncan Jones, director of Moon, Source Code and Warcraft, presents this short film about the star-crossed romance between a humble slave and gentry girl. Years before the time-flitting romance of Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain, it contrasts its story of Iron Age lovers with their two modern-day equivalents. Its plentiful use of period costumes and use of Welsh and Icelandic dialogue betray the ambition Jones would become renowned for in his later feature films.
