A Fine Resort: Sheringham

Clean golden sands, and the purest air in England. There are many reasons to visit the seaside at Sheringham, says this 1961 promotional film.

In 1961, the Sheringham and District Chamber of Trade and Commerce commissioned a promotional film for the town. “A Fine Resort”, is the result. A well made film that shows all the local beauty spots, and points out the tremendous fun one could have at the seaside, and surrounding areas, including Blickling, Blakeney Point, and Sandringham. Dick Graham delivers an eloquent commentary, lending authority to the idea that Sheringham is a must-visit holiday destination.
